My Story
Lauren Kitchens’ story is one of grit, determination, and an unrelenting drive to succeed. Growing up in challenging circumstances, Lauren learned early on that nothing worth having comes easy. Her journey from a small-town girl to a Division I All-Big XII softball player, licensed attorney, and Registered Nurse is a testament to her work ethic and refusal to settle for less than her potential.
Lauren excelled on the softball field, earning national recognition for her talent and dedication. But her accomplishments didn’t stop there. She pursued a law degree, became a Certified Mediator, and later transitioned into healthcare, working in the high-stakes environment of a Pediatric ICU. Each step in her journey has been driven by a desire to make a meaningful impact—whether advocating for clients, caring for vulnerable children, or mentoring the next generation of athletes.
Through these experiences, Lauren discovered her true passion: empowering young athletes to unlock their full potential. She founded The Hitters Academy to not only teach the mechanics of hitting and strength training but also instill confidence, resilience, and a strong sense of self. Lauren’s story is proof that the lessons learned on the field—hard work, perseverance, and teamwork—can shape success in every aspect of life.
At The Hitters Academy, Lauren is committed to developing the entire athlete, helping each one rise to challenges, both in sports and beyond.
